What to say when the site looks wrong

You do not need a backup login, and you do not need to pick files. A text that says what looks wrong is enough for a restore.

Name the page. The homepage, the menu, or a service page is more useful than “the site looks off.” Then say what customers should be seeing: the price, the photo, or the words that were there before.

Also say whether the site opens. If it loads and something on it should not be live, that is a restore. We open the saved copy and put that version back. The portal does not do this. The portal is for a menu item, a price, or a photo you want to change yourself.

If the site will not load at all, say that too. Hours, the menu, and tap-to-call live on that site, so none of them open when it is down. That is uptime, not a restore.
